at Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
Guests should be in the appropriate Family Room in the Administration Building by 12:30 pm. This is how to get there by Metro.
Arlington Cemetery Metro Station
The Arlington Cemetery Metro Station is on the Blue Line. When leaving the station you can exit onto the north or south side of Memorial Drive.
Exit onto the south side of Memorial Drive.
Walking Path in Blue
The blue path on the map below show the somewhat convoluted path from the Metro station, through the Visitors Center and into the Administration Building where the Family Rooms are located.
Walk West on Memorial Drive
Walk west toward the Custis-Lee Mansion and President Kennedy's Grave (where the people are gathered near the center of the picture).
Interestingly on the map above north is to the right and west is toward the top.
About where the security guards are in the picture below, you will need to turn to the left and go into the Visitors Center.
Visitors Center
Go through the front door into the Visitors Center.
This Is The Tricky Part - Look for the Unmarked Door
Once you're inside the Visitors Center, look for the unmarked door to the left. This door leads to a stairwell and ultimately to an outside door.
Go Through the Stairwell and Toward the Administration Building
On the other side of the closed, unmarked door is a stairwell and an outside door. Go through that door and across the street to the Administration Building.
Inside the Administration Building - Find Large Display Screen
Once you're inside the Adminsitration Building, look for the receptionist's desk and the large display screen.
